Plain English summary: Shingleprint is a free tool for homeowners to check roof damage risk using real government storm data. We're not a roofing contractor and we don't guarantee any inspection outcomes. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Shingleprint ("we", "us", "our") operates shingleprint.com — an AI-powered roof damage risk assessment tool that uses real NOAA NEXRAD radar data to generate a Roof Health Score for any US residential address.
We are a technology platform. We are not a roofing contractor, insurance company, or licensed inspector. Nothing on this site constitutes a professional inspection, insurance advice, or a guarantee of any kind.
Shingleprint retrieves and combines multiple data sources for a given address: (1) NOAA NEXRAD hail radar data, (2) historical wind and UV weather data via Open-Meteo, (3) property age data via OpenStreetMap, and (4) satellite visual analysis via Claude Vision AI. These are combined by Claude AI to generate an estimated Roof Health Score between 0 and 100.
The Roof Health Score is an AI-generated estimate based on radar data. It is not a substitute for a professional roof inspection by a licensed contractor. Radar data may not capture every hail event and may include false positives. Scores should be treated as informational guidance only.
Weather and property data is provided by third-party sources including NOAA, Open-Meteo, OpenStreetMap, and ESRI. We have no control over its accuracy, availability, or completeness. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays in any of these data sources.
A low-risk score does not mean your roof is undamaged. We strongly recommend a professional inspection if you have any concerns about your roof's condition.
Homeowners may use Shingleprint to scan any US residential address free of charge. No account or payment is required. By submitting your information (name, email, phone, address) through the lead capture form, you consent to being contacted by a local roofing contractor in your area.
You may receive a follow-up email from Shingleprint and/or the partnered local contractor. You can opt out of communications at any time by replying STOP or emailing hello@shingleprint.com.
All Shingleprint branding, software, design, and content is owned by Shingleprint and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Shingleprint platform without express written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHINGLEPRINT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed $100.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Plain English summary: You pay a flat monthly fee for exclusive lead generation in your city. Leads are real homeowners who scanned their address. We don't guarantee any specific number of leads or closed jobs. You can cancel anytime.
These Contractor Terms ("Agreement") apply to roofing contractors ("Contractor", "you") who subscribe to Shingleprint's lead generation service. By subscribing and making payment, you agree to these terms.
During your active subscription, we will not assign another roofing contractor the same primary city/county territory. Exclusivity applies only to the specific city/counties agreed at signup and does not extend to neighboring areas unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Exclusivity is contingent on your subscription remaining active and payment being current. If your subscription lapses, we reserve the right to offer your territory to another contractor with 7 days notice.
Subscription pricing is based on market tier:
Annual plans are available at 10 months' price (2 months free). Annual plans are non-refundable but may be cancelled at the end of the subscription period.
Payment is processed via Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring monthly (or annual) charges to your payment method. Failed payments may result in service suspension and loss of territory exclusivity.
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. To cancel, email hello@shingleprint.com with the subject "Cancel Subscription".
Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at renewal. We will send a renewal reminder 30 days before annual billing.
As a Contractor subscriber, you agree to:
Homeowner lead data (name, phone, email, address, roof score) is provided to you solely for the purpose of contacting that homeowner about roofing services. You may not use this data for any other purpose, sell it to third parties, or retain it after your subscription ends.
You may use the Shingleprint name and branding in the context of the materials provided in the branding kit. You may not claim to be an employee or agent of Shingleprint. You must identify yourself as an independent roofing contractor in all communications with homeowners.
We reserve the right to terminate your subscription immediately, without refund, if you:
Our total liability to you under this agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost profits, or consequential damages of any kind.
