1. Contractor Subscription Agreement

These Contractor Terms ("Agreement") apply to roofing contractors ("Contractor", "you") who subscribe to Shingleprint's lead generation service. By subscribing and making payment, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

What You Get

• Exclusive territory rights for your selected city/county for the duration of your subscription
• Your business name and phone number displayed on Shingleprint reports for homeowners in your territory
• Instant email notification when a homeowner in your territory submits their contact information
• Access to the contractor branding kit (QR codes, flyers, door hangers, truck magnet templates, email templates)
• Storm alert emails when hail is detected in your territory
• Access to your private lead dashboard

What We Do Not Guarantee

• We do not guarantee any minimum number of leads per month
• We do not guarantee any closed jobs or revenue
• We do not guarantee homeowner contact or response rates
• We do not guarantee uptime or availability of the service (though we aim for 99%+)
• Lead volume is dependent on homeowner scan activity in your territory

3. Exclusivity

During your active subscription, we will not assign another roofing contractor the same primary city/county territory. Exclusivity applies only to the specific city/counties agreed at signup and does not extend to neighboring areas unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Exclusivity is contingent on your subscription remaining active and payment being current. If your subscription lapses, we reserve the right to offer your territory to another contractor with 7 days notice.

4. Pricing & Payment

Subscription pricing is based on market tier:

• Metro Tier (Tier 1): $499/month — major markets (Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix)
• Standard Tier (Tier 2): $299/month — core markets (OKC, Fort Worth, Wichita, Tulsa, etc.)
• Starter Tier (Tier 3): $199/month — emerging markets (Minneapolis, St. Louis, Indianapolis, etc.)

Annual plans are available at 10 months' price (2 months free). Annual plans are non-refundable but may be cancelled at the end of the subscription period.

Payment is processed via Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring monthly (or annual) charges to your payment method. Failed payments may result in service suspension and loss of territory exclusivity.

5. Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. To cancel, email hello@shingleprint.com with the subject "Cancel Subscription".

Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at renewal. We will send a renewal reminder 30 days before annual billing.

6. Your Obligations

As a Contractor subscriber, you agree to:

• Respond to leads in a timely manner (we recommend within 1 hour)
• Treat homeowner data with respect and comply with applicable privacy laws (TCPA, CAN-SPAM)
• Not share, resell, or transfer homeowner leads to third parties
• Maintain appropriate licensing and insurance as required by your state
• Not make false or misleading claims about the Shingleprint service to homeowners
• Use the branding kit only for legitimate marketing of your roofing services

7. Lead Data

Homeowner lead data (name, phone, email, address, roof score) is provided to you solely for the purpose of contacting that homeowner about roofing services. You may not use this data for any other purpose, sell it to third parties, or retain it after your subscription ends.

8. Branding & Representation

You may use the Shingleprint name and branding in the context of the materials provided in the branding kit. You may not claim to be an employee or agent of Shingleprint. You must identify yourself as an independent roofing contractor in all communications with homeowners.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your subscription immediately, without refund, if you:

• Misuse homeowner data or violate privacy laws
• Make fraudulent claims to homeowners
• Engage in harassment or unprofessional conduct
• Violate any other provision of this agreement

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you under this agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost profits, or consequential damages of any kind.

1. Who We Are

Shingleprint ("we", "us") operates shingleprint.com. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We take privacy seriously and collect only what we need to operate the service.

2. Information We Collect

From Homeowners — Scan Phase (no account required)

• Street address — required to run the roof scan. Used only to fetch NOAA radar data and generate your score.
• IP address — logged automatically by our servers for security and abuse prevention.
• Device/browser info — standard web analytics (browser type, operating system, screen size).

From Homeowners — Lead Submission (optional)

If you choose to submit your contact details to book a free inspection, we additionally collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number

This information is voluntary. You can view your scan results without submitting it.

From Contractors

• Business name, contact name, phone, email, website
• Payment information (processed and stored securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
• Service territory (city/county)

3. How We Use Your Information

Homeowner address data

• To fetch NOAA radar data for your location
• To generate your Roof Health Score
• To display your scan results

We do not store your address in any database after the scan is complete unless you submit a lead form.

Homeowner contact data (if submitted)

• To send you a confirmation email with your scan results
• To share with the Shingleprint-partnered roofing contractor in your area so they can schedule your free inspection
• We also receive a copy as the platform operator for quality assurance

Contractor data

• To configure your territory and display your branding on homeowner reports
• To send you lead notifications
• To send you storm alerts relevant to your territory
• To process your subscription payments via Stripe

4. Data Sharing

We share homeowner contact information with the following parties:

• Local roofing contractor: The Shingleprint-partnered contractor in your area receives your name, phone, email, address, and roof score so they can contact you about a free inspection. This is the core purpose of the lead submission form.
• Anthropic (Claude AI): Your address and hail data are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the AI roof analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
• NOAA: Your approximate location (lat/lng coordinates) is sent to NOAA's public API to retrieve hail data.
• Resend: Our email delivery provider receives your email address and name to send confirmation emails.
• Stripe: Our payment processor handles contractor billing. Stripe's privacy policy applies.

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Data Retention

• Scan-only sessions: No address data is retained after the scan completes.
• Lead submissions: Stored in our secure Cloudflare KV database. Retained for up to 12 months to allow contractors to follow up. Deleted upon your request.
• Contractor data: Retained for the duration of the subscription and 90 days after cancellation for accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to deletion: Request that we delete your data
• Right to correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data
• Right to opt out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Right to portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@shingleprint.com with the subject "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days.

7. TCPA Compliance

By submitting your phone number through our lead form, you consent to being contacted by a local roofing contractor via phone and/or SMS regarding your roof inspection. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP at any time.

8. GDPR & CCPA

For users in the European Union or California, additional rights apply under GDPR and CCPA respectively. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (to connect homeowners with local roofing services they requested) and consent (where you have opted in to communications).

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. Cookies & Analytics

Shingleprint uses minimal cookies:

• Functional cookies: To remember your city selection and preferences within a session
• No advertising cookies
• No third-party tracking pixels

We may use basic analytics (page views, scan counts) to improve the service. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.

10. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Lead data is stored in Cloudflare's KV infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe and we never store payment card information.

Despite our efforts, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery.

11. Children's Privacy

Shingleprint is intended for use by adults (18+) and homeowners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify contractors by email of any material changes. For homeowners, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
